Accommodation..........
The home is furnished to an excellent standard with accommodation,
which allows service users to exercise choice between various
facilities available. For example, service users may choose
to reside either in the cosy lounge, the quiet lounge or perhaps
the conservatory. Both lounges are equipped with a television,
video, DVD player and music facilities. The conservatory has
a piano for the entertainment of service users.
We
have bathing hoist equipment and a 5 person passenger lift
to assist with independence.
Dining
area
The
dining room converts into a hobby and activities room for
the various functions in which service users participation
is encouraged.
Bedrooms
We
provide accommodation for both ladies and gentlemen in single
and shared rooms. We have 29 single bedrooms and 3 double
bedrooms. All bedrooms are spacious and comfortably furnished,
with an attendant call system and en-suite facilities including
showers.
Each
bedroom has a personal phone line available as well as a television
point. The bedrooms and en-suites are equipped with an emergency
call system.
The
rooms are light and airy and service users are encouraged
to personalise their rooms with small items of their own furniture,
pictures and ornaments.
Garden
The
garden is welcoming to both service users and their visitors.
The garden has been designed to provide enjoyment for service
users all year round. There is a patio and gazebo for personal
enjoyment / fulfilment. The garden is well maintained to encourage
service users to sit outside in the summer.
